Dr. Jennifer Thoms SLP.D., CCC-SLP

Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist

Jen is a New Jersey licensed and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist. Jen earned her B.S. from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (N.K.A. Stockton University) in Speech Pathology and Audiology, her M.A. from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania in Communicative Disorders, and her Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University.  Jen was invited to become a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi based on academic excellence, Nova Southeastern University Chapter.

Jen has more than 19 years experience working as a speech-language pathologist in the school system where she has provided speech and language therapy to children pre-k thru 12th grade. She also has extensive experience working in early intervention providing speech, language, and feeding therapy to children 0-3, and their families.


​Jen has seen great success with families who are directly involved in their child's therapy and is devoted to providing an environment where parents/caregivers are able, and encouraged to, engage directly with their child's therapy and communication intervention. As a mom herself, Jen is dedicated to listening to and addressing any concerns parents/caregivers may have regarding their child's care and providing them with the guidance that will best support everyone involved.​


Jen has completed Augmentative and Alternative Communication certification and is DTTC Trained to provide more comprehensive therapy to children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
